How to Make Peanut Butter Bars
Line an 8" x 8" or 9" x 9" pan with parchment paper.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine ½ cup butter and 1 cup peanut butter. Microwave for about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Stir gently, then add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, 2 cups of powdered sugar, and 1½ cups of graham cracker crumbs until well mixed.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and spread it evenly, pressing down slightly to create a solid base.
Clean the bowl, then add the remaining ½ cup of peanut butter and 1 cup of chocolate chips. Microwave for 45 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base and spread evenly.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until set. Let sit for 15 minutes at room temperature before slicing.
