Ingredients

For the Base

  • 0.5 cups Butter Unsalted
  • 1 cups Peanut Butter Creamy
  • 1 teaspoons Vanilla Extract Imitation vanilla can be used
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar Do not substitute with granulated sugar
  • 1.5 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs Can swap with crushed digestive biscuits

For the Topping

  • 0.5 cups Peanut Butter
  • 1 cups Chocolate Chips Semi-sweet ideal

Instructions

How to Make Peanut Butter Bars

  • Line an 8" x 8" or 9" x 9" pan with parchment paper.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine ½ cup butter and 1 cup peanut butter. Microwave for about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Stir gently, then add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, 2 cups of powdered sugar, and 1½ cups of graham cracker crumbs until well mixed.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and spread it evenly, pressing down slightly to create a solid base.
  • Clean the bowl, then add the remaining ½ cup of peanut butter and 1 cup of chocolate chips. Microwave for 45 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base and spread evenly.
  • Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until set. Let sit for 15 minutes at room temperature before slicing.

Notes

Optional: Drizzle with extra melted chocolate or sprinkle crushed nuts on top for added texture.
