For the Extras

  • ½ cup Chopped sun-dried tomatoes (in oil, drained) Fresh tomatoes can be used as an alternative.

Instructions

Cooking Steps

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides, ensuring they are well-coated for flavor.
  • Whisk together the chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, and optional red pepper flakes in a bowl until smooth.
  • Place the seasoned chicken in the crockpot and pour the sauce over it, ensuring the chicken is well-covered.
  • Sprinkle chopped sun-dried tomatoes on top of the chicken.
  • Set the crockpot to LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours.
  • Add butter in the last 30 minutes of cooking and stir it into the sauce.
