How to Make Crockpot Hawaiian Chicken
Dry your chicken pieces thoroughly, then season generously with salt and black pepper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated fresh ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until well combined and smooth.
Layer the seasoned chicken at the bottom of the crockpot. Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s evenly coated, and add the pineapple chunks on top.
Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
Once cooked, garnish with freshly sliced green onions and serve over cooked rice.
For thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and simmer any leftover sauce until thickened.
