  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Granules Fresh garlic can be used.
  • 1 teaspoon Chicken Bouillon Optional.
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch Optional for thickening.

For the Creaminess

  • 1 cup Sour Cream or Heavy Cream Avoid Greek yogurt.
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese Grated.
  • to taste Fresh Parsley or Basil For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Begin by generously seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • In your slow cooker or a skillet, heat the butter (and olive oil, if using) over medium heat.
  • Place the chicken skin-side down and brown until golden, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Carefully flip the chicken and pour in the white wine or chicken broth.
  • Sprinkle on the paprika, garlic granules, and diced sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 90 minutes to 2 hours until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, create a cornstarch slurry and stir in during the last 10 minutes.
  • Stir in sour cream or heavy cream and grated Parmesan until well combined.
  • Before serving, sprinkle fresh parsley or basil over the dish and serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
