Instructions

How to Make Slow Cooker Crack Chicken

  • Start by placing the boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of your 6-quart slow cooker. Top them with the cooked chopped bacon.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, gently melt the cream cheese together with the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, ranch dressing mix, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Carefully pour the creamy sauce over the chicken and bacon in the slow cooker. Make sure everything is well-coated.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to LOW for 4–6 hours, until chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
  • Once finished, you can either serve the chicken whole or shred it directly in the sauce. Pair it with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

Garnish with fresh parsley for added freshness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days; freeze portions for longer storage.
