Instructions

How to Make Delicious Creamed Corn

  • In a small bowl, whisk together flour and whole milk until smooth. Set aside.
  • Heat unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped shallots and sauté for about 1 minute until softened.
  • Stir in frozen sweet corn, heavy cream, and dried thyme. Cook for 4-5 minutes until warmed through.
  • Blend 1-2 cups of the mixture until smooth and return to the skillet.

Notes
