Ingredients

Chocolate Layers

  • 2 cups White Chocolate Chips Make sure it melts smoothly.

Preparation

  • Melt the Milk Chocolate: In a medium glass bowl, microwave milk chocolate chips at one-minute intervals, stirring until fully melted. This should take about 2-3 minutes total.
  • Melt the White Chocolate: In another medium glass bowl, melt the white chocolate chips similarly. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  • Add Peppermint to Milk Chocolate: Stir half a teaspoon of peppermint extract into the melted milk chocolate. Pour the mixture onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to set.
  • Mix Peppermint into White Chocolate: Blend the remaining peppermint extract into the melted white chocolate. Once combined, spread this melted white chocolate evenly over the set milk chocolate layer.
  • Top with Crushed Candy Canes: Immediately sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the layer of white chocolate, ensuring even coverage for a festive touch.
  • Chill Again: Place the entire tray in the fridge for another 15-20 minutes until the bark is completely solidified.
  • Break into Pieces: Once set, carefully lift the parchment paper from the cookie sheet and break the bark into desired pieces.
  • Optional: Drizzle with additional melted chocolate for a decorative touch.
